Truck driver workouts can be done on the road using minimal exercise equipment. In fact, they can even be done using the cab of the truck as a prop! In this video, Derek demonstrates some truck driver exercises to get you started using some basic dumbbells and a resistance band along with the help of your semi truck. Workouts for truck drivers don’t have to be done with fancy gym equipment!
3 Truck Driver Workouts with the Truck:
- Trunk twists: Loop a resistance band through the handle of the truck. Standing facing the cab, grab the handles and twist to the left with your core. Repeat on the other side.
- Planks: Lay a yoga mat down or use the sleeper of the truck. Facing down, support your weight on your forearms and toes. Hold for 60 seconds to work your core.
- Preacher curls: Stand on a resistance band and hold both handles in one hand. Raise bicep to opposite side of body and repeat on the other side.
