A Twist on a Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich — Mobile Munchies Entry

A peanut butter banana sandwich isn’t just for kids! There are a lot of fun things you can do with these two basic ingredients — two ingredients that are actually pretty darn easy for truckers to keep on the road with them, comparatively speaking. Kim Howell sent in this recipe for our Mobile Munchies contest, and we thought we’d share with you today.

How to Make Banana Peanut Butter Tortillas

Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich on Wheat TortillasIngredients: 1 banana, peanut butter, whole wheat tortilla.

Directions: Simply spread some peanut butter on a whole wheat tortilla (opt for natural peanut butter if you want to be a little healthier). Put a peeled banana in the tortilla and roll everything up like a burrito. Slice the tortilla to make little bite size peanut butter tortilla coins! You could also add some more ingredients like honey, cinnamon, or additional fruit. Feel free to get creative with this one!
