Monday Munchies — Healthy Veggie Dip Recipe for the Truck

Healthy Veggie Dip Recipe for TruckersEat your veggies.

We’ve all heard this since we were kids. And even still, there are those of us who just don’t like the taste of plain, raw veggies — you need some flavor on them! Well, this one’s for you.

This veggie dip is healthy and protein-filled because it’s made with Greek yogurt. It also doesn’t contain a bunch of added fat and sugar, unlike ranch dressing, and the dill weed and red wine vinegar gives this dip a little zing.

Watch the video below to learn how to make this healthy veggie dip.

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
  • Half a cucumber, diced
  • 2 tsp fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper
  • Red wine vinegar

Directions:

Mix everything together and serve. Seriously, it’s that simple.

This veggie dip rings in at only 125 calories, 20 grams of protein, 9 grams of sugar, and no fat. Dig in with some carrots or broccoli and you have a very healthy low calorie, yet filling snack!
