I haven’t weighed in yet this week, but I’ve done pretty well. Not perfect…but pretty well.
One thing that has been different this week is what I have shared with my husband. We have taken the time to walk/jog together 4 times this week. Two times were simply for the exercise, and two times were to exercise and get dinner.
See, that’s one of the things that kind of makes me angry. So many truckers whine and complain about how hard it is to eat healthy on the road. It can be, but just use a little imagination. We very often can find a place to park and then walk to our place for dinner. And then of course, we get to walk back [to the truck] also. It’s been good to actively share part of my weight loss journey with him.
That being said, I haven’t put in as many miles this week as I would have if I had just done my DVD’s on the truck. So I do feel a little lax about that. But hopefully this next week I’ll be more creative and motivated to do more.
And about eating out — you can find something healthy to eat just about anywhere. You just have to make the right choices!
Since I am sitting here waiting to be unloaded, I think I will get off and get in an early walk/jog.
