Avoiding Weight Loss Pitfalls – Tammy’s Week 4 Check-In

Last week we had a week off for vacation time with the family. I weighed in and was still the same. 🙁 I guess I have to be grateful that it wasn’t a gain, but I’m still getting a bit tired of my weight loss slowing down. I’m getting nowhere toward my goal of being under 200 by the end of this month. But we’re back on the road now and I’m trying to put a more conscious effort into my workouts and what I’m eating.

I know it doesn’t seem reasonable, but supposedly you can’t lose weight if you eat too few calories, so I’ve added just a bit to my norm. Trial and error, right? I’m also trying really hard to get off the Coke Zero. I love the stuff, but I’m trying…

I’m still not getting enough fluids (like water) in general because of that ole problem of “what goes in” … you know. It’s tough driving a truck and having to stop so often. But I’m working on that too. We had a really great time with family and I do have a few pics for you!

Dinner of sweet potatoes, green beans, and catfish

Here is my dinner at Cracker Barrel — spicy grilled catfish, a baked sweet potato, and green beans.

Here are two pictures of my workout places at the receiver this morning. I got in 5 miles, half walking/half jogging, while waiting to be unloaded. That’s time management!

Thanks for checking out my blog. Until next time,

About Tammy Croce

Hi! My name is Tammy, and I'm an over the road truck driver. My husband and I started team driving in January of 2006. We took a year off from July 2011 to July 2012, and have only recently gotten back into driving. I've battled with my weight my entire life. When I got back into driving, I gained some weight because I didn't make good food choices or set aside the time to exercise. But I've decided to change my ways, and this is my journey to becoming healthier through diet and exercise. I hope you'll join me for the ride!
